The Global Investigative Journalism Conference is the world’s premier international gathering of investigative journalists held every two years. The next conference in 2021 will be an especially significant event as GIJC will be celebrating its 20th anniversary. GIJN, which oversees the conferences, is now accepting proposals from GIJN member organizations for the 12th Global Investigative Journalism Conference.
The 2019 Global Investigative Journalism Conference is scheduled for September 26-29 in Hamburg, Germany. Designed by journalists for journalists, GIJC19 will feature cutting-edge panels, workshops and networking sessions, ranging from cross-border collaboration and corruption tracking to advanced data analysis. Here’s an opportunity for you to propose great ideas on compelling panels, workshops and other presentations.
The conference will be held in Hamburg in 2019, co-hosted by GIJN and its member Netzwerk Recherche, the dynamic German investigative journalism association that has organized 16 annual conferences of its own.
